Following MFL's successful programme of training in Mass Casualty Management and Advanced Life Support to the Emergency Services of Gjakova in 2024, an MFL team is returning in the Spring 2026 to mentor new doctors and nurses whilst undertaking complex inter-hospital critical transfers.

In 2025, MFL undertook a programme of 'training-the-trainers' selected from the six ambulance services of North West Syria in collaboration with World Health Organisation. 2026 will see a more ambitious Syria-wide programme of resilience building training.

In collaboration with local Ukrainian partners, Charity Fund FREEDOM TRUST, an ambulance will be deployed to Ukraine along with a team of MFL paramedics. The mission is to transfer injured civilian and military patients from trains coming from the frontline and refer them into appropriate hospitals.
