What We Do

HAZARDOUS AREA RESPONSE TEAMS Medevac Frontline's resources can be mobilised on an overseas deployment into various appropriate modules: Our elite HAZARDOUS AREA RESPONSE TEAM (HART) paramedics are fully trained and equipped to work closely with Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) teams, receiving patients from them in the warm/cool zone and extricating them safely for onwards referral in our safe but make-shift ambulances. Also in this team are NILO incident commanders that can ensure crew and patient safety and support from the cold zone and the Base of Operations.

AMBULANCE SERVICE At any kind of disaster, local ambulance service providers quickly become overwhelmed. Our ambulance unit is mobilised at the request of WHO as surge capacity. They work on rota 24/7, able to assist with patient transfers and referrals. These shifts are crewed by one paramedic with either an emergency care assistant or an ICU nurse, supported by local drivers, interpreters and UK mechanics, all supported by an Operations Officer and Team Leader back at Medevac Frontline's Base of Operations.

TRAINING TEAMS Medevac Frontline also provide specialist TRAINING TEAMS. These are deployed overseas at the request of Ministries of Health or World Health Organisation (WHO) into countries with under-developed healthcare services. In January 2025, a training team delivered a programme of TOT training in Advanced Life Support, Trauma and Mass Casualty Management to the seven frontline ambulance service providers in NW Syria. In March 2025, they were invited back by WHO.
